Site Reassignment
I have put much thought into this, and have decided to "reassign" the Kansas Youth site. It will, in the near future, be redesigned into a more general "Youth Portal"; still faith-based, but with more focus on Youth and connecting them in positive ways with each other, and on helping them build a personal relationship with God not solely based on one religion or denomination. I am doing this because of the lack of involvement from current members, and also because I believe that that is the ultimate "Ideal"; a personal relationship with God and a life of high standards, morals, and principles being lived for Him. Thank You.

New-S-ections
There are some new sections out there for you sports fans and news junkies and the "Announcements" and "Message for our Youth" sections have been redesigned for ease-of-use. If you look over to the right above the Chat Box, you will see a "Content" section. This is a "Cloud" of tags. Each page on the site has one or more tags and can be accessed by clicking it's corresponding tag; which then brings up a list of pages to choose from with matching tags. This makes finding things much easier than having to try and remember the name of the page. I hope you guys get a lot of good use out of these and many more features to come. (Note: When you post up a New Page, remember to tag it!!)

Red Envelope Day
Red Envelope Day!!!
What:
Get red envelopes or postcards (http://www.zazzle.com/RedEnvelopeDay) and mail them on March 31st to the White House.
When:
March 31st, 2009
Get a red envelope. You can buy them at Kinkos, or at party supply stores. On the front, address it to
President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500
On the back, write the following message.
This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion.
It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world.
We will mail the envelopes out March 31st, 2009.
Put it in the mail, and send it. Then forward this event to every one of your friends who you think would send one too. I wish we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died [in the U.S.] before having a chance to live.
It may seem that those who believe abortion is wrong are in a minority. It may seem like we have no voice and it's shameful to even bring it up. Let us show our President and the world that the voices of those of us who do not believe abortion is acceptable are not silent and must be heard.
Together we can change the heart of The President and save the lives of millions of children.

We need Artists!!!
We are holding a contest for those of you with artistic abilities! The Kansas Youth .NET site needs help with three logos and wants you to be a part of it all.
All designs will be voted on by our Youth at an event to be announced. They will be judged for use of:
- Creativity
- Principle Integration
- Purpose
- Eye-Candy
- Relevance
- and a lot more!!
We need logos for:
- WAIT.kansasyouth.net
- JrSTF.kansasyouth.net
- www.kansasyouth.net
These logos:
- should be relevant to Kansas
- should be relevant to WAIT
- should catch the eye and be memorable
- should be relevant and purposeful
- should convey the JR. STF mission
- should be creative
- should be fun!!
